Description

Description

Discover the magic of Lima with our Free Night Tour through the Magic Circuit of Lima, starting in front of Casa Osambela. Stroll across the Plaza de Armas, walk along the iconic Jirón de la Unión and the elegant Plaza San Martín, before finishing with the dazzling light show at the Magic Water Circuit in Lima’s Parque de la Reserva — the city’s most modern and innovative attraction, perfect for photography lovers, honeymooners, families with children, and groups of friends.

Itinerary

This exclusive tour begins at 5:30 p.m. outside the Casa Osambela, in Lima’s historic centre. This colonial mansion, built between 1803 and 1805 by order of Marquis Martín de Osambela, stands out for its neoclassical façade with Louis XVI-style balconies, rococo ornamentation, an octagonal lookout tower, and a four-storey structure.

Your guide will share its fascinating history, its restoration in the 1980s, its current use as a cultural venue, and the unique architectural details that make it so special.

From there, we head to Lima’s Plaza de Armas, the founding heart of the city. Your guide will recount the history of the landmarks surrounding the square: the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, colonial façades, and explain the political, religious, and urban importance of this space, as well as how it has evolved over time.

We then continue along Jirón de la Unión, walking from the Plaza de Armas towards Plaza San Martín. Along the way, your guide will explain the role this street played as a commercial hub during the Republican era, its periods of decline and revitalisation, its transformation into a pedestrian street, and the historic cafés, bars, and shops that gave it character.
